To evaluate the source term for low-level waste disposal, a comprehensive model had been developed and incoporated into a computer code, called BLT (Breach-Leach-Transport). Since the release of the original version, many new features and improvements had also been added to the leach model of the code. This report consists of two different studies based on the new version of the BLT code: 1) a series of verification/sensitivity tests; 2) bencmarking of the BLT code using field data. (Jml)
