Nuclear Safety Review 1995
A new format has been adopted for the Nuclear Safety Review 1995 to present the major safety developments of the past year. The focus on the report has been shifted to feature a number of prominent relevant issues and to concentrate on their implications for radiation and nuclear safety. The Review includes in-depth discussions of steam generator integrity, control rod drive nozzle cracking, fire protection, childhood cancers near nuclear installations and radon induced health effects. Related IAEA activities such as the feedback of operating experience based on the IAEA event reporting and operational safety services are also addressed. (Jml)
